South-East corner is ideal for kitchen — this is the direction of Agni (fire element).

Cook facing East for health and prosperity. Never cook facing South.

Water sources (sink, tap) should be in the North-East of the kitchen.

Refrigerator in South-West or West direction is ideal.

Never place the kitchen directly under or above the puja room or toilet.

Keep the kitchen clean, bright, and ventilated. Avoid dark colors.
